road located in Central Bangkok. Sited in the Banglamphu neighborhood of
Phra Nakhon district, the place dazzles visitors with its tight nipping
shopping experience and myriads of other fascinations. Framed with
scores of hotels and shops, the place is a fitting example of what a "backpackers'
ghetto" should really look like.
Many people visiting Bangkok, head right away to Khao San Road owing to
its cheap accommodation. In fact, the place offers some of the best
deals on hotels, as compared to other areas in Central Bangkok. However,
it does not mean that the place exclusively greets shoestring tourists.

popular for its bookshops and has some of the best second hand-book
stores in Bangkok. In fact, with its extensive range of shopping baits,
a trip to the road is a must for every Bangkok traveler. The best time
to visit the place is during evenings, when the shopping experience gets
more exciting with local Thai vendors joining the throng of sellers.
With the fall of dusk, they arrive in the market to sell exotic stuffs,
ranging from clothing and traditional crafts, to a mixed bag of
bric-a-brac.
